The Banquet Server will play a major role in ensuring a pleasant experience for Centerplate guests who attend catered breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, receptions and other organized group affairs involving food and beverage service.
Cash Room Cashier
The Cash Room Cashier is a highly trusted position which exists in Centerplate businesses where a significant volume of cash transactions are processed within a compressed period of time, such a sporting or events arena. Typically transferred to the role after gaining experience in Quick Serve operations, the Cash Room Cashier will support Centerplate’s goal to be #1 in Event Hospitality by upholding standards for handling cash.
The Hospitality Cashier – Quick Serve is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service by assisting guests at points of sale. This position typically exists within a sporting or events area, or in a Convention Center with retail food and beverage stands and kiosks. Style of service may include take-away, cafeteria-style, restaurant-style or in-seat service format.
The Concession Cook is responsible for preparing concession menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Concession Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the Concession Cook must be aware of while operating in the concession stand.
The Expeditor serves as the link between various food production areas and the banquet or restaurant servers, ensuring that Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or guest orders are completed, together and on time. The Expeditor is responsible for monitoring quality to ensure that food orders are consistent and appetizing and attractive in presentation.
The Kitchen Worker is an entry-level, general kitchen utility position, responsible for performing a variety of duties related to culinary operations, including preparation of hot and cold food items, preparation of and replenishment of dishes for buffet presentation, stocking of kitchen supplies and tasks related to the maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
In Seat Server
An In-Seat Server is a member of the Quick Serve (Concessions) team. They are responsible for providing fast and efficient service by offering customers a variety of pre-made or made fresh-to-order snacks, beverages and entrée items from Centerplate’s Quick Serve menu with the convenience of taking orders from and delivering orders directly to the customer’s seat during games and events.
The Specialty Retail Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service within Centerplate’s retail merchandise outlets by supervising merchandise staff at all points of sale and by assisting with merchandise-related needs within designated retail sales outlets. Assigned work areas may include permanent stands or mobile stands or kiosks, typically within a sporting venue, as well as in-venue retail stores and/or stand-alone retail stores.
The Specialty Retail Cashier is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service within Centerplate’s retail merchandise outlets and points of sale. Assigned work areas may include permanent stands or mobile stands or kiosks, typically within a sporting arena, as well as in-venue retail stores and/or stand-alone retail stores where sports-related merchandise is sold.
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the receiving, unloading, storing and distributing of food product, retail merchandise and other supplies, while maintaining a neat and organized work environment. They will typically operate a forklift, electric cart and other equipment, and will be responsible for strictly adhering to all Centerplate standards and established venue policies for accuracy, sanitation and workplace safety.
